1.6 Your Student's First Test Is Free
Updated 4 months ago
To help tutors and academies evaluate new students with confidence, EdisonOS provides one complimentary diagnostic test for each student within a program.
The first test assigned to a new student does not consume any credits or licenses, regardless of your subscription plan.
How the Free Diagnostic Test Works
When a student takes their first assessment in a program, it is automatically treated as a complimentary diagnostic test.
For example:
A student's first SAT test is free.
Their first ACT test is also free.
Likewise, the first test they take in any other program is free.
No additional setup is required. The platform automatically applies this benefit whenever a student is eligible.
Which Test Can Be Used as the Diagnostic Test?
You have complete flexibility in choosing the assessment that serves as the student's diagnostic test.
This can be:
Any tests in the platform
As long as it is the student's first test within that program, no credits or licenses will be consumed.
Why We Offer This
We understand that the initial assessment is often an important step in understanding a student's current performance level and determining the right learning path.
The complimentary diagnostic test allows academies and tutors to:
Assess student readiness
Conduct placement or diagnostic evaluations
Demonstrate them the testing experience to prospective students
Make informed instructional decisions before committing platform resources
Fair Usage Guidelines
The complimentary diagnostic test is intended to support genuine student evaluation and enrollment workflows for tutors, coaching centers, and academies.
