6.1 Creating a Problem Set
Updated 4 months ago
A Problem Set is a skill-based practice session designed to target specific gaps identified after a student completes a practice test. Unlike full-length tests, problem sets are focused, intentional, and assigned to address exactly what a student needs to improve.
Problem sets are available under every program on EdisonOS including SAT, SHSAT, and any programs that you have added. Each program has its own problem set library, and you can work with both the EdisonOS-provided library and your own custom problem sets.
How to Create a Problem Set
Go to the Problem Set section from within your chosen program (e.g., SAT).
Click the dropdown and switch from EdisonOS Library to My Library.
Click Create Problem Set.
Fill in the following fields:
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Title | Give the problem set a clear, descriptive name (e.g., Algebra ā Linear Equations ā Medium) |
Description | Briefly describe the skill or topic this problem set targets |
Problem Set Type | Choose from Linear, Question Adaptive, or Random (see Section 6.2) |
Tag | Add any additional categorization tags relevant to your program |
Click Create Problem Set to confirm.
You will be taken directly into the problem set editor where you can begin adding questions.
Problem sets can be built using questions from both your My Library and the EdisonOS Library, you are not limited to a single source.
