7.3 Student Notifications
EdisonOS automatically sends email notifications to students at key moments in their learning journey. These notifications are triggered by specific actions taken by the admin or teacher.
When Notifications Are Sent

Student enrolled into the academy | Welcome email with login credentials |
Assigned to a Problem Set | Email alert with a direct link to the problem set |
Assigned to a Practice Test | Email alert with a direct link to the practice test |
Students can open assignment emails and click directly through to log in and navigate to it.
Also, they can log in to their academy and see the tests they have been assigned to, even without emails.
Remind students to check their inbox (and spam/junk folders) after you enroll them or assign a task. The notification email is often the fastest way for them to get started, especially if they are new to the platform.
