13.1 Owner Settings
Account settings in EdisonOS are split into two levels which are your personal Profile Settings and the broader Academy Settings that apply across your entire academy. Both are accessed from the same place: clicking your name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the Academy App.
Profile Settings allow you to manage your personal account details — the information tied to you as an individual user, independent of the academy itself.
How to Access Profile Settings
Click your name in the top-right corner of the Academy App.
Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.
What You Can Change
Setting | Details |

Full Name | Update the name displayed on your account across the platform |
Email Address | Cannot be changed, your login email is fixed at the account level |
Time Zone | Set your local time zone to ensure dates, schedules, and timestamps display correctly for your location |
Setting the correct time zone in your profile is especially important if you are scheduling assignments or test windows for students. A mismatched time zone can cause deadlines and timestamps to appear incorrect in your view versus the student's view.
