3.6 Questions & Folders Overview

The Question Bank is your central hub for all content in EdisonOS. From here you can browse ready-made questions from the EdisonOS Library, manage your own questions under My Library, and organise everything into folders for easy access.

By default, when you navigate to Question Bank from your program's left-hand navigation, you land on the folder overview a structured, browsable view of all available content.

The EdisonOS Library

The EdisonOS Library contains pre-built, expert-reviewed folders organised to match the structure of each program. For SAT, the folders are grouped by section and difficulty level:

These folders mirror the structure of the actual digital SAT where a Baseline module followed by an Adaptive Upper or Lower module depending on student performance. Other programs available on EdisonOS have their own respective folder structures within the library.

Browsing Folders & Previewing Questions

When you click on any folder, the questions inside it load in the panel to the right. Each question shows:

  • A question number and the question content

  • A difficulty tag (e.g. Medium, Hard) to quickly gauge the level

  • The assigned reviewer or contributor

To preview a question in full including the answer and explanation simply click on the question. This opens a detailed view where you can review the correct answer, read the rationale, and assess whether it fits your needs.

Use the Sort By and Filters options at the top of the question panel to narrow down questions by skill, topic, or keyword especially useful when browsing large folders.

Creating Folders & Questions in My Library

All content you create lives under My Library. From the Question Bank, you can:

  1. Create a new folder to organise your questions by topic, difficulty, or any custom structure.

  2. Add questions directly inside any folder, writing custom questions from scratch.

  3. Browse the EdisonOS Library to find questions you want to reference or use alongside your own.

Using Questions to Build Tests & Problem Sets

Every question in the Question Bank whether from the EdisonOS Library or My Library, It can be used to build practice tests or problem sets. Once you've identified the questions you need, you can assign them directly to a new or existing Practice Test or Problem Set from within the Question Bank.

This makes the Question Bank the single source of truth for all content creation in EdisonOS to browse, organise, and build, all from one place.
