3.2 Supported Programs

EdisonOS is built with standardised test prep at its core. From the beginning, the platform has been designed around the exams that matter most to students pursuing college admissions in the US starting with the SAT and ACT.

Currently Supported Exams

SAT

The SAT is one of the most widely accepted college admissions tests in the United States. EdisonOS has supported SAT prep since its early days, offering a comprehensive content library aligned to the current Digital SAT format including full-length practice tests, section-level drills, problem sets, and a rich question bank organised by skill and difficulty.

ACT

The ACT is the other primary college readiness assessment accepted by virtually all US universities. EdisonOS's ACT Program provides structured prep content across all four core sections English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science giving students and tutors the tools to target weak areas and track progress over time.

SHSAT
The SHSAT is the sole admissions criterion for New York City's eight Specialized High Schools, making it one of the most competitive exams for middle school students in the country. EdisonOS's SHSAT Program offers targeted practice content across both tested sections which are Verbal Reasoning and Mathematics with question banks organised by topic and difficulty, helping students build the precision and speed required to achieve competitive scores.

PSAT/NMSQT
The PSAT/NMSQT serves as both a college readiness benchmark and the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Program. EdisonOS's PSAT/NMSQT Program provides full-length practice tests and skill-focused question banks aligned to the current Digital PSAT format, giving 10th and 11th graders a structured path to strengthen their Reading, Writing, and Math skills while positioning themselves for scholarship recognition.

PSAT 10
The PSAT 10 is a college readiness assessment designed specifically for 10th graders, offering an early benchmark against national standards. EdisonOS's PSAT 10 Program delivers practice content aligned to the Digital PSAT 10 format across Reading, Writing, and Math, helping students identify skill gaps early and build a strong foundation ahead of the PSAT/NMSQT and SAT.

PSAT 8/9
The PSAT 8/9 is an introductory college readiness assessment for 8th and 9th graders, designed to measure foundational academic skills and set a baseline for future growth. EdisonOS's PSAT 8/9 Program offers accessible, curriculum-aligned practice content across Reading, Writing, and Math, giving younger students an early start on the college admissions preparation journey.

EdisonOS is actively expanding its catalog of supported exams. Additional Programs like ISEE, SSAT, AP Physics 1 and other programs and curriculum will be introduced to the platform over time.
